ABOUT THE MATERIAL

Designed to save lives, this high tech airbag material is sourced from factory scraps and end rolls trashed during airbag production. At Rewilder, we rehabilitate it and save it from landfill. Each piece has unique markings from its first life as an airbag.

IMPACT

Each airbag backpack diverts the equivalent CO2 from the landfill as planting 6 trees, driving 300 miles in a passenger car, or charging your smart phone every night for 49 years!

WHY IT'S BLUE

We overdye the original white airbag fabric when it is too dirty to use as is. This is a process of careful selection, and makes our color runs extremely limited edition. We work with a local Los Angeles dye house run by father and son, that Lisa has known for 25 years.

Because this bag has been overdyed, color transfer may occur. Be cautious with light-colored clothing or surfaces.
