The process is labor-intensive, requiring a collective effort to gather old tees, take them apart, and re-piece them into a dope new form.

Every Comeback Tee is uniquely re-pieced, and will be customized individually by hand with chain stitch detailing exclusive to Metaverse Miami by amR studio.

THE STORY OF OUR UPCYCLED T-SHIRTS

The post consumer tees are sourced from post consumer trash tees and are the most sustainable tees ever made. Using upcycled tees saves our precious resources - water, carbon, energy, pollution, and also (perhaps most importantly) humans. People are most likely to be exploited in fast fashion and are not a commodity.

THE FUTURE OF DESIGN IS CIRCULAR

We must use our precious resources more carefully and considerately. At Rewilder, we are focused on using valuable materials that already exist, and ensuring that they stay useful for as long as possible. This means reworking them to continue their life cycle beyond what was originally intended. Each design we develop is unique, limited edition, and guaranteed to be giving a second life to beautiful but discarded materials.
